Personal MBA - ChangeThis manifesto

For everyone who has been following the PMBA project, some good news: you can now download the finished manifesto via ChangeThis.

The manifesto features an expanded and updated list of 42 titles, some thoughts about entrepreneurial education, and introductions to each of the books that made the list. After reading the manifesto, you’ll have a better understanding of how it’s possible to learn business on your own time, why each book is a part of the PMBA, and how the titles fit together to form a comprehensive set of business education resources.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this project – it was a heck of a way to spend my summer, and I look forward to seeing how the concept grows and develops in the future.

I will be posting an HTML version of the manifesto on this site for your convenience. Watch this space.

Be sure to check out the PMBA community at personalmba.com.

  1. Thanks for mentioning my book on your blog. I hope you find Improv Wisdom useful. I’d love to hear from you if you did find the book of use.

  2. Josh, I love the personal MBA. Have you considered adding podasts like Manager Tools and my own show, The Cranky MIddle Manager (http://cmm.thepodcastnetwork.com) to the list? We interview people like David Allen, Beverly Kaye and David Norton who show up in the biggest companies in America. Practical Management should be a part of every business person’s repertoire.

    Good work, and good luck
