Josh,

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I spent a couple of hours researching and thinking. Reviewing some video, etc. and Mr. Paul's ideas and concepts mirror my own. At present, based on research, I see no other candidate with his fundamentals. I have long advocated many of his beliefs. It would appear Mr. Paul has researched and studied our long history of failed foreign policy initiatives and economic hubris. What really impresses me is his attitude in the face of off-the-cuff criticism. He stays the course and works his message, not playing to the debate. He is fresh and thought provoking. Thanks again for the invitation and insight.

A quote you may like, maybe it should have gone to the top of this post. :-).
And it seems you will be following this man's footsteps.

' Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost'
John Quincy Adams. 6th President of the United States and supposedly the most learned man ever to occupy that chair.

As a non-american, I think the interpretation here about US involvement in the middle east is a bit simplistic. There is a historical perspective to it. We can have that debate some other day I guess.

Cheers,
Jay
